		<description>Interesting post- I passed it on to my history department. We are talking about going to trimesters and trying to open the schedule up to allow for more student choice. Maybe let kids take 2 trimesters of World History that are survey and then choice a trimester of something that interests them from a variety of options. Maybe get bold and make the entire 9th world history year a thematic set of trimester options (like Revolution, Human Rights, Sacred Beliefs)
