<description>Well, I've learned fast and true (and time and time again) that what sells is what sells and so it goes.

And that Taylor, well, to know her, or pertinent biographical details about her...

Oh, anyhow, I'm proud to know her.

And I'd love to have her @ my school.

It's the English teacher in me that admires her.
No, it's the person in me.</description>

		<description>Clay,

Here is Annoyed Librarian today
http://tinyurl.com/32u95k
and the recent identity flap
http://tinyurl.com/2d48wu
"She" is a public librarian, has her doubts about the mission of the ALA (American Library Association) and hates "perky".

At this time last year, I hadn't yet completed my first online course, didn't know what an RSS feed was, hadn't written a blog posting, knew none of my small but important (to me) professional - and, now, personal - community of friends.

So much to be thankful for in both my "real" world of family and school, and my "virtual" world of stimulating and caring colleagues around the country and around the world.

		<description>Hi Diane~
No, no gender stereotyping in my suspicion. More a fantasy (don't read into that), I guess, of how funny that would be - how creative - if true.

The whole mystery of anonymity is so delicious. And gender-bending through virtual identity. And the stuff the Yes Men have done.

(Gee, I can only hope Taylor doesn't take this as an insult if I'm wrong ;-) )

Don't know the Annoyed Librarian. Will look it up. And don't know Taylor's twittername.

Celebrate thanksgiving? Daily, when I'm sane. Like most holiday spirits, it should be a constant mental habit.

I'm thankful for you, for instance.

Hope your holiday is good to you.

		<description>Clay,

I also started reading Taylor the Teacher after the afore-mentioned Tweet (do you read "her" Tweets also? No holds barred!)

Her description of the lunchroom debacle reminds me of the current proposal to aware NYC students cell phones for good behavior, even though mobile devices are banned in all the city districts.

I guess administrators giveth and administrators taketh away.

Why do you think she might be a male? Too strong-willed and dynamic for a mere female?

I suppose you also suspect the Annoyed Librarian is male?

Happy Thanksgiving (do you still celebrate it?) to you, your finacee, and all of your wonderful students.
