Thanks to Nick Senger (“Teen Literacy Tips” blog) for the find. As a supplement to reading the classics (not a substitute), MyRocketBooks.com holds great value. From the site:
Rocketbooks are video study guides that provide summaries and detailed analyses of literary works. Our WikiNotes section offers a new user experience allowing fresh viewpoints and expressions from today’s students, educators, and literature enthusiasts to bring these classic works to life.
I skimmed the King Lear videos, and they’re quite good. Well-done!

Clay –
Thanks for your post in response to Nick Senger’s blog about myrocketbook.com. We are very excited to be producing such videos and have continued plans to make the site better and more interactive for readers in their quest to not only understand, but to enjoy classic works of literature. I hope to see you in the MyRocketbook community upon the establishment of the new site. Keep your eyes out for it as it’s coming soon!
Would always appreciate any feedback you have as well.
Thanks!
