Just Sharing: Screencast - "What is Blogging?"

I know there are better videos explaining blogging, but I just made this one for teachers at my school. It’s the preface to the actual “How to Set Up a WordPress MU Blog” screencasts I made - 5 of them - to follow up. I didn’t go into connective writing, but will in a follow-up. One step at a time. I just show that blogging is real-world by skimming through the NY Times blogs, and a few of my favorite edublogs.

Great video Clay. It gives a good insight into blogging for those who are still mystified what it’s all about.

Don’t you love when that happens? It happened to me once with Jeff Wasserman. I posted a comment on his blog, and when it refreshed, a newer post appeared on the screen - he’d been writing it while I was commenting - and the post began with a quote from one of my posts.
Blew me away. Literally opposite poles of the globe, in perfect sync.

hey clay,
very nice video…great examples…your narration (for lack of a better word) provides helpful info for teachers by explaining what blogging is and how it’s different than writing of the past.
looking forward to more great stuff!
