		<description>I want to thank you, Clay, for reminding me why I started blogging. Here's my storyline. &lt;br/&gt;In many ways I feel like the teacher/student distinction is beginning to blend. I had a great conversation with a few soon-to-be grads on Friday. Most of the conversation revolved around students making a difference. But I have found myself personally wondering if I'm any different. Do I make a difference? I want to! The fact is I'm every bit the trained monkey my institutionalized students are. Sit, listen, do, - woof! [I exaggerate surely?!]. Follow curriculum, don't stick neck out, test - woof! So I became a little depressed. Decided to start a science issue process. Thought about taking my blog down. Felt unable to contribute effectively to the process. yadda yadda yadda. &lt;br/&gt;Then you linked my blog and asked your students and I'm feeling like I'm part of the process. &lt;br/&gt;We just have to keep moving forward right? &lt;br/&gt;Thanks again. And I wish I had the opportunity as a student to have that reading list for a class. Great books. Great learning. Now I need to do the equivalent in science.</description>
