Ironic Title: "Rambling Reflections"

I just visited “Rambling Reflections,” a classroom teacher’s blog from New Zealand, and thought it worth passing on.
Why? Because it’s anything but “rambling,” from what I saw, and full of terse, reflective quotes and thoughts, and useful tools for geeky teachers like us.

Her blog was very interesting as yours. I have noticed she had a great interest in Internet and has been teaching students with tools online. I wonder if her students also learn many variety of tools in Internet as we do in your class. Overall, I was really suprised to see another example of a class that uses tools other than paper work.

Nice to see you here
There are a good number of teachers in the world exploring these things, and we all share by using the tools you’re using in the classroom. I’m involved with other teachers on wikis, blogs, and podcasts. It’s real-world stuff, and very useful (though messy sometimes).

^^ Thank you for the reply. I thought you wouldn’t be able to see it because as you said the RSS feeds doesn’t show you replies.
After I read this article, I got the chance to read some other articles like the student blog HW conversation. I am almost finished with it. I found that it was very long because it had other links of the past conversations. However, it was very interesting to read. I got the chance to find out teachers’ thoughts of the HW blogs. I had been(and probably most of my colleagues) curious of what the teachers were thinking, and it made me indulge into the problem as I heard my friends were very tired from the two blogs.
Personally, I enjoy blogs not as a writer yet but as posting and finding new stuff. The very stress, if I had to make a individual blog, is that it feels like nobody would read and comment because I’m just a student(not a teacher) and don’t have that much great skill in writing. Plus, writing posts frequently is a hard job.
And for HW blogs, I’m not sure right at this moment because we didn’t make a blog yet(history students). We only made wiki pages for our homework which is quite limited to students in KIS. I guess that’s one of the reasons we feel less excited(or interested). It would be a more “good tensing” if random people in other countries were sending comments/feeds than people just in our class give feeds to each other.
As this is one of the very first steps being made(I never heard or learned it this way before), I feel very curious and interested at the same time. I like the idea of preparing for our “bigger” picture of life not the college we will be in. I do lack many things: writing, speaking, etc., and I will try my best to improve those. I believe, this opportunity would be the very steps I would need for my future.
