International "Flat World Nights" Blog-Book/Wiki Creative Writing Project Open Invitation

As promised, I’ve created a wiki to launch a new type of student publication: a “blog-book.”

See this post for a description of the idea.

The wiki for the drafting of the stories that will ultimately end up on the “blog-book” (for selected student writers) is here. (Winning writers will also perform spoken performances of their works as podcasts or digital stories on their blogs as well!)

Please spread the word. My class will be using the writing process to draft and revise their stories for at least the next two weeks. Other classrooms are welcome to jump in now, but if that’s not possible, they can gladly jump in later. This idea can stay open infinitely–like the worldwide web!

If you like this post, please spread it: bookmark bookmark bookmark bookmark (But don't tag it "education." That will bury it.)

  1. Your ideas are fresh and wonderful…good luck! Unfortunately, I couldn’t see your wiki as it is closed…:(
